Rotary - Interactors 7:57 PM

Interactor is the youth organization of Rotary International. It's for teenagers from 12-18 years. Rotary Clubs guide and mentor them but they are independent clubs.
This year the Interactors handed out food parcels to people in need.
Mr. Fab drove them several hours around and made some pictures.














Interact ist das Jugendclubprogramm von Rotary International. Es ist für Jugendliche von 12 – 18 Jahren. Sie werden von Rotary Clubs als Patenclubs betreut und beraten, sind aber ansonsten selbständige Clubs.
Dieses Jahr verteilten die Interacts wieder Lebensmittelpakete an Bedürftige.
Mr. Fab fuhr sie einige Stunden umher und machte Fotos.

What have Rotarians in common with spaghetti? 6:50 PM

Both of them you need to collect money for scholarships for Belizian students.
This morning at 6 a.m. we stood at the market and prepared tables and chairs for a rummage and a spaghetti sale.
We walked several miles over the market and stoped uncountable cars, trucks, taxis and busses who passed by to sell the tickets for the spaghetti.
In the afternoon was the highlight of this initative... a raffle of a donated used motorcycle.





Was haben Rotarier und Spaghetti gemeinsam?

Beides benötigt man, um wieder einmal Geld für Stipendien für Belizianische Schüler zu sammeln.
Heute morgen um 06:00 Uhr standen wir auf dem Markt und haben Tische und Stühle für einen Flohmarkt und einen Spaghetti-Verkauf aufgebaut.
Wir liefen einige Meilen über den Markt und hielten unzählige Autos, Trucks, Taxis und Busse an, die vorbei fuhren um Tickets für die Spaghetti zu verkaufen.
Am Nachmittag kam es zum Höhepunkt der Aktion - eine Verlosung eines gespendeten gebrauchten Motorrades.
